Birth Doula services include so much more than labor support. My services include:
Childbirth education to remove confusion and fear and give you confidence and awe in your body and this process.
Counseling around your values and desires so that you can stop feeling subjected to the agenda of others and create a birth experience that is joyful and authentic to you.
Support and advice for holistic nourishment (including nutrition, movement, and emotional/spiritual care) so that you can avoid depletion and overwhelm and feel full, strong, and ready to open for birth.
Postpartum planning because exhaustion, overwhelm, and mood disorders are not an inevitable part of postpartum. This time should be blissful and restorative, but to get there takes special care and planning.
Free or discounted community offerings because you need a village. Ask for details!
The way we birth matters.
Pregnancy and birth are an initiation into a new role and a new way of life (with every baby, not just the first!). I work with families to make this a time of joy, power, and connection, rather than fear and overwhelm. The support I offer is unique to each family, because everyone will need something different in this very personal time.
During your birth I will be there with you to call you back to your strength and your values and to offer whatever physical and emotional support is needed.

These insurance plans fully cover your costs for birth and postpartum care including:
One in-depth initial visit
8 additional visits that can be used prenatally or postpartum (mix of in-person and virtual)
Labor and birth support
Two extended postpartum visits of 3 hours
Private Pay Clients
I happily accept private pay and offer flexible plans to meet your needs and flexible pricing to meet your budget. Doula care should be available to all, regardless of insurance status. Reach out to discuss.
